My internal dialogue when these were the first two items I picked off the floor:
Me: “No, no, no. I know you’re only going grocery shopping but no. No.”
Me: “But…. I like those colours. And like you said, I’m only going grocery shopping.”
Me: “Listen, this is not a super casual version of Emma Stone’s outfit. You can’t pull this off.”
Me: “Well now that you mention it… the colours are very similar.”
Me: “Ugh, fine. Just don’t wear the tartan flats.”
Me: “Oh, good idea!”
