So, my Gran. She was Catholic. Devout.

When we got into the wreck, no one asked us her faith. Just her name. So she died without last rites. We’re not entirely sure if she got them before her cremation or not.

And it bothers the shit out of my Mother. 

So I know it’s funny and cute. But that actually serves a purpose for the people who own that jewelry.

I used to find a lot of those at fleamarkets and was tempted to buy them because some were really pretty but I didn’t do it in the end because I’d feel too bad about wearing this while not being Catholic and not needing last rites.
