Phone conversations are the hardest

This is not a post about social awkwardness. Phone conversations in Swedish are the hardest because the Swedish pronunciation is wack and I am a very visual person so seeing a person’s face greatly helps me understand them. But I just got off the phone with the police because I wanted some information about my stolen bike (still stolen) and I had that conversation entirely in Swedish. I had to ask for repeats from time to time but mostly I could understand the questions and I could answer them without losing my words.

And the company is buying a new bike anyway.
