I’ll probably call in sick tomorrow

Depending on how crappy I feel in the morning. If I don’t feel a tremendous amount better and do go in tomorrow, I’ll drag this cold on for another couple of days and I wouldn’t be of much use at work anyway in the state that I am. I just remembered that I don’t know how to access my work-email from my computer because I don’t know the URL of the mothercompany’s LogIn thingie. I do know how to access our company’s internal blog and our company websites’ CMS and I am very tempted to just leave a message there à la:

Breaking news: Isis H. can’t come in today

Due to a severe cold that has rendered her unable to get out of her pyjamas in three days, Isis H. has to stay in today to continue her curing strategy consisting of lites upon litres of both black and peppermint tea, Doctor Who and buttered toast. The ROI of this course of action is very high since first signs of betterment are starting to show.
